My favourite sport is motorcycle racing..
In bsb I support stuart easton and chris walker ( local boy)
in WSB its leon Haslam although I have a lot of people I like in that
In moto gp it used to be simoncelli and Valentino but now obviously its just the doctor.
I am also now by default a Rangers fan too.. and find myself of late knowing all there is about the tricky position they are now climbing out of..

What is an alma mater?"
its basically the school or university where you graduated...
today it one of the special days in the calender for american sports fans... it is day 1 of the NCAA mens basketball tournament.. march madness...
starts with 64 teams... single elimination, broken up into 4 16 team regions... my university ended up being one of the top 4 teams in the nation, and so ended up being the "1 seed" in one of the regions....
so we start out tomorrow night (against LIU-Brooklyn) but the 1st thurs and fri of the tournament as like holidays for us sporting geeks... wall to wall basketball across 4 different channels... (CBS,TBS,TNT and TRU)

football fan, here, bth sides of the pond.
support WBA, but have a soft spot for most midlands teams (even the old gold as would much rather beat them every year than see them go down lol) and a Bears fan in the US (and also a Revolution fan in the UK american footy league) |

It means cherished mother or nourishing mother.i suppose it was the idea your college nourished th mind as a mother nourished the body. Alumnus/alumnae the term for a graduate of a college is foster son or daughter. |

Football comes first in any sport I watch and it's Manchester United & England plus I'll follow the team of the town where I live so on that basis Newcastle United.
Also follow F1 but I support the English drivers as opposed to a particular team. Got a soft spot for Ferrari as they are the only team to have contested every season of F1 since it's inception. |
