ever wondered why certain ads know ur location? why u get some junk mail from reputable companies?
I'm no expert but I've noticed a change in my website experience, I'm not getting targeted ads..
the companies store,collect data,and share(I have google analytics already blocked from tracking me via fab)info
I dont know if those more in the know of internetty things will think its great, but like I say, im not being targeted by ads on facebook etc the way I used to
so anyway just test the browser add-on if u wish, google DNT+

sounds interesting. I haven't seen anything negative about it so far. The basic free download covers your interests being tracked. It seems you would have to pay for a more in depth cover e.g. your email addresses etc being forwarded.
I'm really technically challenged, so it's hard for me to comprehend this all, but I'll give it a try. Thanks for the tip! |
