I'm more concerned about the dickheads who use them to shoot at people from their windows or in bushes. I've had this happen to me. They weren't a good enough aim, but it was close enough to hear it whistle past my ear. If they caught me in the eye then that would be me not here today |

"If you have nothing to hide then it's a good thing.
Gives police an idea where any are in case something happens "
Another case of doing the polices work for them |

People will moan because of two things
1. They have to pay for a licence
2. They're poachers and don't want catching
I used to go fishing as a kid and a young adult, so licence paying is nothing new to me. That money goes towards the upkeep of British waters. Now imagine if airgun licences went to the upkeep of British wildlife |

I've been shot right between my shoulder blades just walking down the middle of the street in my hometown.
Sniped by friends of friends.
It hurt like fuck and I was shot from a long way off.
I've no problem having air rifles and air pistols on license. Same for more powerful paintball guns. |

I don't have a problem with this per se. My son's air rifle is kept safe with my 12 bore and only allowed out under supervision - but then, I guess the law isn't being changed for peeps like me |
