Photo verification is 100% useless.
There are too many pics being uploaded for the current mods to moderate it.
You end up with pics of objects and no people, comic book pages, kids in the background, men with women in pics (most likely without prior consent).

There are also some strange folk who post their verification photo in their public gallery and or make it their avatar which kind of defeats the whole purpose.
Easy enough to photoshop the new fab username onto it and hey presto.
Wish I had never done photo veri now. But never mind eh. |

I have never experienced a man pretending to be a woman. A few men pretending they are still part of a couple years after the break-up, but a quick scout of the last verified date sorts that put.
If I remember rightly to get a photo veri it’s naked holding your name or clothed with face holding your name. Sure it can be photoshopped and I am sure the photo mods do the best they can, but what a lot of effort for someone to go to for ultimately very little reward.
No wonder national productivity is down |
