"If someone winks you, how do you take it. Do you ignore them or do you see that the person is showing interest. Are they pointless?
What do you think. "
I most certainly wouldn't ignore any if I was lucky enough to receive one |

I’ve been here 3yrs and didn’t even realised they exist until a few weeks ago, now I know they are there I still think they are pointless & ignore them (MrsB)
Think MrB looks occasionally and may check the odd profile but we wouldn’t message someone just because they’d winked at us, surely it’s just laziness on the winners part trying to get you to start the conversation |

Winks are are door opener, gives each side the chance to check out each other to decide if they may contact. We check any winks received and if interested, wink back and/or send a message!!
It’s good to talk. |

I think winks are very useful but they've been only used and abused, maybe we should agree to an amnesty to over use and all agree to be a lot more selective in their use! |

Yes because what's the point in writing a full blown, very well worded message for it only to be deleted anyway because something somewhere about you may not be what they're looking for. A wink exchange is ideal at first. |

I’ll have a look at their profile and see if I’m interested, I think they’re ok. |
