Would you not meet someone because they where too young or too old? I’m 19 and feel like I start too many conversations off by asking if there even interested in someone my age. Probably not the best idea anyway, but what’s everyone’s opinion on age and does it matter to you and why??

Yes it matters.
It matters to me because I’m not attracted to men my own age. And I won’t meet men who are near my grandads age.
Anyone who says it doesn’t matter is weird imo, and it seems a bit desperate to me 
OP ensure you’re messaging people who’s profiles state they will meet men your age. There’s even a wee bit that says ‘Looking for: men aged 30-50’ (that’s what is on my profile) if you can’t be bothered reading their actual profile  |

I'm pretty sure a 19 year old is unlikely to have the experience and qualities that would work for me. It takes a certain guy to fit into someone else's marriage. And that really does come with experience. |

I don’t always have my message filters on, but my profile always says I’m looking for men aged 30-50. Just because folk that are out of that age range can message, doesn’t mean I’m interested at all  |

Based on a previous post,I'm "weird" and "bit desperate" as age isn't particularly important to me (obviously as long as they're over legal age).
In my experience there's fun to be had with people of all ages,it's just be different types of fun dependant on their age/experience.
For example an experienced older couple will be a different style of fun to an inexperienced younger couple,but to me both are equally as appealing and enjoyable.
Just to be clear,I'm not slating anyone who has age preferences,but for me the physical and mental attraction are more important than age |

It mattered to me when I was in bed with this girl I'd just nailed. Lay chatting after she slipped up how old she was I'd been told 29 but the truth was 19. 1st it downes on me after I give myself a pat on the back obviously. How old was this kids dad. So like a fucking knobhead I asked didn't I. Yep he was years younger than me. My next thoughts was my own daughter and how hard I'd be stamping on a dirty old if 1 fucked my little girl. I got up dressed felt as sick as a cunt told her we'd not be seeing each other again and I left feeling ashamed of myself. Sadly a true story.  |

Personality wise I usually get on with people a lot older than myself, but I've realised on here that men in their fifties can be as immature as an 18 year old. Below 21 is usually far too young for me when it comes to men, but if they looked older than they are and are mature then I'm not against people who are younger.
This is shallow, but i do find men on here don't age that well so my upper limit is set at 53. I tend to go for people my age up to about 50 but that isn't set in stone. M6 dad is 51 and looks younger, so maybe I am biased about how old people should look at a certain age. I have a feeling a lot of guys lie avout their age on here to attract younger women though.

Oh I have no doubt he’ll love it! My youngest sister is 12 so he’s only just really finished raising a child, and he doesn’t ‘do’ babies anyway. Stood in the corner on his phone during both my little sisters births, isn’t a big ‘baby’ kinda guy
But he’s already decided that my baba is going to be a pro boxer and he’s going to train him (my dad does boxing) and he’s growing used to the name we have chosen...and he’s finally admitted to his work mates that yes, he will be a grandad (him and my mum are managers together so they have all known for ages, he just wouldn’t talk about it ) |

I remember being furious with my son. How could he do this to me I was gutted. It's just getting your head round it. Getting old is a horrendous for anyone but its depressing as fuck if you think about it to much. That's why us bloke have identity crises. I've had load of them and I highly recommend them. I have met someone a few months older than my dad. As we are both consenting adults I didn't see it as a problem, although of course if my dad knew he likely wouldn't be happy!
I also sometimes wonder if one or two of the 18 year old women are 18 or actually younger. I looked a lot younger at 18 though so it's hard to tell. |

We get a lot of messages off lads between 21-24 and I won’t meet them. I have a daughter that falls in that bracket so it’s really not right. I always get the same reply .... age is just a number!

I tend to prefer much younger guys, my son is 26, my first younger fwb is 3 years younger and was 20 when I first knew him. So yeah, age can be quite important to me, when it comes to looking for playmates |

I'm a hard nut but burst into tears in front of my colleagues when my daughter phoned to say she was pregnant with twins.
People thought it was tears of joy but I was furious and felt old: I was horrified by the whole thing. That was three years ago.
I now have six grandchildren: five boys and a granddaughter five days old. Daughter number three and her husband haven't started yet so more to come.
I know I'm being ridiculous, but each grandchild is like another pall bearer. I need to get a grip and enjoy my grandchildren and count my blessings and not look at them as portents of my demise. |

The post I made about the 19 yr old my problem was how I'd feel if a block my age touched my daughter. I'd not be happy to say the least and I just could do it but in fairness if she'd not chatted shit about her age I'd not have gone there but again if it was mine I'd not give a toss as to the whys or there fors. Change your age range from 18-75 to 18-99 then! Give those 90+ year olds a chance! |

I'm fine with younger people as I'm with 18 to early 20s most of the time. I know my preferences, based on experience and just being in the right age group is but one aspect of being a match.
Many people here have kids of the ops age and aren't interested.

I remember being furious with my son. How could he do this to me I was gutted. It's just getting your head round it. Getting old is a horrendous for anyone but its depressing as fuck if you think about it to much. That's why us bloke have identity crises. I've had load of them and I highly recommend them. Fast car even faster bikes it fucking fantastic
I'm a hard nut but burst into tears in front of my colleagues when my daughter phoned to say she was pregnant with twins.
People thought it was tears of joy but I was furious and felt old: I was horrified by the whole thing. That was three years ago.
I now have six grandchildren: five boys and a granddaughter five days old. Daughter number three and her husband haven't started yet so more to come.
I know I'm being ridiculous, but each grandchild is like another pall bearer. I need to get a grip and enjoy my grandchildren and count my blessings and not look at them as portents of my demise."
We're human and those signifiers of our life advancing are important and unique to each of us. I'm sure you treasure all your family no less because of it. |

No problem with age. Meeting tomorrow with a smoking hot lady in her 50's and another lady who's 52. On the lower ages it stretches to early 20's.
At your age you can only look upwards so perhaps reach out and 'sell' your playing propositions at singles and couples up to late 20's, early 30's. Don't talk about your age unless that's what you really want to talk about.

From my experience, being 21, most women will just believe you’re too immature or not experienced enough. Obviously everyone has preferences and those few women that do like younger will get bombarded with messages from guys so that’s the game really |

"I'm inexperienced for someone my age, and I've known men who didn't start having sex until they were my age, so age doesn't always equal experience.
Personality wise I usually get on with people a lot older than myself, but I've realised on here that men in their fifties can be as immature as an 18 year old. Below 21 is usually far too young for me when it comes to men, but if they looked older than they are and are mature then I'm not against people who are younger.
This is shallow, but i do find men on here don't age that well so my upper limit is set at 53. I tend to go for people my age up to about 50 but that isn't set in stone. M6 dad is 51 and looks younger, so maybe I am biased about how old people should look at a certain age. I have a feeling a lot of guys lie avout their age on here to attract younger women though.

Oh I have no doubt he’ll love it! My youngest sister is 12 so he’s only just really finished raising a child, and he doesn’t ‘do’ babies anyway. Stood in the corner on his phone during both my little sisters births, isn’t a big ‘baby’ kinda guy

I can relate to every word you've posted there except you've a lot more grandkids than me. It turned out the way I felt had nothing to do with my age or thinking I was an old basterd. I don't want to post details on here but if you want I'll explain In pm because I'd not be surprised if your feelings stem from a similar place as mine did.
