Do any women subscribe to this, cause I mean how much of the worst is there and how long does the best bit last, cause to be honest it sounds more hassle than it’s worth ?

Fuck no, only women can get away with saying that. If a bloke says it, you’d be like ‘Shut the fuck up dude!’

That quote is mainly used by lasses that are trying to justify acting like a massive irrational twat

Lol I think this applies to all relationships, men and women and just is about not wanting someone who is a “fair weather friend”.

I think fab can just be about sex and not all the best or worst

Somewhere out there

You can tell the people who say this early on - just check if they’ve got “live, laugh, love” on their wall

I also think it’s like the other quotes that are mysteriously put on memes of Marilyn Monroe and don’t mean anything.

If this is in real life, and it’s someone you care about that’s ok to a point. What I mean is this attitude is ok for a while but actually friendships and relationships have to be equal. Sometimes one person needs a bit more, that’s ok. But you as a person don’t have to carry someone else always.

If this is fab, run a fucking mile

The issue comes when the worst outweighs the best

I've put up with, absorbed and forgiven some utter bullshit from previous partners, but no more

I want your best, I want to know you're giving it your best even when you feel at your worst

I am supportive, generous, emotionally open, tolerant, caring and would go to the ends of the world for those I love, but it has to be a two way street

I'm not an easy guy to live with either to provide some balance - for all my good points, I can be anxiety ridden, sarcastic, petulant, cold, aloof, awkward and stubborn to the point of stupidity

I recognise these traits and have taken steps to eliminate and reduce them from my daily life

That's kinda what I ask for in return really - that if you have faults, that you recognise them, own them and manage them

Don't expect that because I am your partner that I will put up with your shit because you are hormonal or a moody, snappy bastard with an awful side
