I think you missed a vital part of sex education classes:
If a someone has sex with others of the same gender and only others of the same gender then they're gay
If someone has sex with others of the opposite gender and only others of the opposite gender then they're heterosexual.
If someone has sex with both people of the same gender *and* the opposite gender then they are bisexual.

Its the wording by the OP. If you read it exactly.. hes said a couple falling in love with a man. He may have meant your way and probably did.. but he might not have.

It used to happen a lot in the 50,s and 60,s. Gay men could still be sent to prison then. Gays were very stigmatized back then, so would marry and have kids to appear heterosexual. A friends dad was gay. Very often the wife's didn't know the men were gay. X
