What's something you need/have that isn't worth it?

For example my neighbor needs a Land Cruiser to pull heavy loads, it's expensive to run and own, it's not worth it but he needs it for work.

Why isn’t it worth it? If he needs it to pull heavy loads for work, then surely it’s worth it to him.
