I sometimes think that couples can be left out of the flirting threads or overlooked a little by folks, so here's a thread for folks to say hi and flirt.

Sometimes, although some of those instances are because there are fewer pictures of the male half.
I've seen several couples where this isn't the case and the guy is hot. |

I like chatting to (Tara) other half doesn't really get involved, or if he does he gives me his opinion and I go from there. He is quite happy for me to chat away but then I fill him in with anyone I really get chatting too x |

Men struggle a bit with this when they meet us in person too. They aren't sure if they should ask the husband if it's OK to do stuff and they're not sure if it's OK to flirt with the woman.

Not necessarily they both use the profile. I've had men from couples say their other half doesn't know they're talking to me. I don't want to get involved in that.  |

See that's the thing you have to assume they're ok with it. If they're not, there will be drama.
Also like the other couple said there's the issue of asking the husband for permission etc. I've come across quite a few profiles where this was the case, to me that's a red flag. As a single guy I'm only interested in the female so don't particular want to interact with the male half. But on the other hand this attitude can be seen as disrespectful.
Finally you've mentioned that couples profiles can be accessed by both parties, so essentially there is another person reading your private conversation. |

When I was looking to meet couples on my solo profile, I always assumed that any conversation was read by the male and recognised that any meet I might be having with them, I was fitting into their dynamic. I was meeting them, not just her, so respect towards both parties was important. I wasn't stealing her away and there was nothing private about the conversation, essentially I was trying to get them both into bed, not just her and thats if it's a straight MMF or a bi one.

Yes but I am single guy who's only interested in solo meets. I have no interest in the male half of the couple but at the same time don't want to be disrespectful about it. Every couple has different dynamics and it's not always 100% clear in their profile so assuming one thing and not another is dangerous. You can turn out being disrespectful or misunderstood, so it can be tricky for singles. |

I think I see what I'm missing here - it's an assumption I often make and Mr rolls his eyes at me I am assuming that everyone on here is as open and upfront as me. This is clearly not the case and I should know this by now! Always a bit naive when it comes to some people's motives.
