We send a message every few weeks, just to keep in touch.

Most reply, still waiting for some.

If we have no response within a month, and can see they have been, or are, on,one, we send another to say “goodbye”. In our humble opinion, a month is long enough to reply, and if none by then, they obviously are not interested.

In the last week, four on my friends list have contacted or I messaged them. I had a big clear out a few weeks ago, due to those I didn't feel were actually intending to meet or contact.

I now only accept friend request if I know that person is genuinely going to be a part of my 'fab life', not try and get access to my hidden photos.

No. Most of them are in the Forum and given most regular users ard pretty open and vocal. I don't feel the need.

One or two have made it onto Facebook and again.. we don't have to communicate on the regular to stay friends. I'm not needy (believe it or not) and I'm not attracted to needy people.

Having said that, I did video call a fellow fab fridnd last night for a chin wag.

If I left fab.. then there are a few folks,like your good self, who I'd ask to remain friends with. Given I see you online as much as I am.. comment on alot of similar threads.. there's no real need to spam you with PMs.

Few I chat to regularly. Have made friends here and now friends outside fab so very rarely chat here. If I add someone as a friend and than no contact they usually get kicked to the curb after a few weeks

My friends list is pretty much people I've met and meet in person with an added few who I will met when time and distance align in our favour.

Really only do real time chats ie in person or on the phone as never been into online messaging as it's without the nuances of body language so not really for me

I don't like it when people drop off my friends list without explanation. I make a point of being honest and approachable, but polite and reasonable. Hide next to nothing.

If I was going to drop off someone's friends list, I think I'd feel obliged to explain.

We're all different I guess.

I'm quick to make friends and be friendly, unless someone gives me reason not to be.

When they drop off without telling me, it makes me wonder what you said or did wrong to lose them. For all of five minutes.
