Would you delay your menopause for upto 20 years by having an ovarian graft. Or should we leave mother nature alone x

Not a chance. There's no way I want another 20 years of what I go through every month.

No, not sure I’d be well enough to cope with it in my 70’s. I think it’s a good idea for young women who suddenly go into early menopause x

A small operation taking ovarian tissue and grafting it stopping/delaying early menopause or if people have fertility problems.

I'm going through menopause at the moment and at 1st I could have done was kill someone. Tried HRT but that was a pile of nonsense. Now I take a herbal tablet and I've never felt better.

No I want it out of the way I think I'd rather deal with it now than when I'm 70.

"I just want my periods to stop. "

I thought the exact same. Until it happened and all the problems came with it.

If it could soften menopause, it may be a reasonable move though an increase in much later pregnancies could bring other problems - though realise this op may be done to assist with fertility or conception issues.

I’ve no doubt for a few this could be a life changing procedure but all it does is problematise women’s bodies, I’d far rather there was a greater openness to talk about it and better support for women going through it, society needs to fix its attitude to the ageing process!
