I just think it’s the best venue. Saw my mate play there a while back. Check him out - Tom Grennan - sweet hallelujah |

Duh....the PERCENTAGE of knife crime in London is double, treble and up to quadruple that of other areas of the UK.
If some of you feel safe - great, but don't deny what's going on, other people's kids are dying on the streets on a daily basis, I have personal experience of hysterical mothers coming to rescue their son from pursuit by a gang of school kids fer crying out loud, followed by no fewer than 3 blue light cop cars screeching in to my festival site - they certainly take such daily occurances VERY seriously as potentially life threatening, even if you deny them. That was in a very yuppie area.
No ghettos?? Are you KIDDING??? There are vast swathes of London that belong to one ethnic group or another, if you drive through it, you can see it clearly. No way I would get out of the car in some areas without my ex-heavyweight boxer friend with me! |

If you want to live with that attitude to things then that’s up to you. I hardly bury my head as per the other thread. I go to places like Nigeria and jobug. You certainly can’t bury your head in some places. I’m very aware of my surrounding. I also know when I feel safe as I can be and when I may be taking a chance. I’ve just never felt like that in London with the places I frequent. Let’s leave this now as we have different ideas of London. That’s cool but mine is a happy place and my favourite place to enjoy my life. I’m not forcing that on you. |

For some weird reason i always feel at home in London despite being a northener (wigan) born and bred. The better half also said she felt at home when she got off the plane from South Africa some years ago at Heathrow and we both like it. And the beer is nice. |

Well I'm still waiting for my tube etiquette lessons.
I haven’t forgotten, you moved here now ? "
Not fully. Because of work commitments I can't officially move until the new year. Still splitting my time.
