I was listening to a podcast on the definition of a Milf and associated issues. The podcast took the view (after an extensive review of porn) that Milf is interpreted in one of two ways depending on your position. For some it has to be literally someone who has given birth and is fulfilling the nurturing role. For others it is an age range normally associated with someone older than the person using the term. In the same way as someone may say " She's a granny". The woman does not literally have to be granny but merely someone older.
They podcast took the view (to simplify) that as it is a term without personal qualities and an aggressive title (very few other terms have the "f" in them e.g. "babe", Milf was an inherently misogynistic term. |
