Last things I did for the neighbours was take a parcel for them and clean the guttering. Though they also let me use the ladder to clean our own!

At the moment no. Bunch of curtain twitching toxic arses. We can't wait to get out the village to our new house ... parochial "your not from round here" attitude

Never had a problem with neighbours until now

I hide from my neighbour because she talks too much.

She's lovely but I always seem to bump into her when I have somewhere to be.

We only have one really. I was neighbourly when I didn’t let the dog eat their ball. We say hi but we aren’t friends or even very friendly lol that’s their fault but we are happy being left alone.

This is my sixth house, I have always had great relationships with neighbours at each house. Even when I had no direct neighbours, I had great relationships with farmers surrounding me.

I'm semi detached and next door has two young boys that are noisy. I do try and avoid but do take in parcels and lend her tools etc

The other side it's just a general hi. Across the road are elderly and we have offered to help them out if needed and have helped clear paths etc when the weather was bad.

I set out to make friends as soon as I move house. I knock on immediate doors, introduce myself, make a smiley friendly impression. Always wave or say hello if I see them outside etc. Continue to build friendship or friendship as time progresses.

We invited everyone to our house for a drink shortly after we moved in. We chatted in the street and have offered help where needed. They remain unfriendly with the two exceptions I mentioned.

I lived on a normal street at one time, I was chatting outside with a neighbour, and saying hello, waving or a quick chat with any one who passed. My neighbour commented 'do you know we everybody along here ?'

I said most of them yes, don't you ? you lived here 9 years longer ? She replied no. I asked if she spoke to any of them if she saw them, she said no. I said there's your answer. She said why should I if they don't talk to me

I haven't met my neighbors yet. I'm in a cul-de-sac so after 3 weeks of moving in you'd have thought I'd have at least popped over to next door just to say hello.

But it is the same for me out shopping or anywhere. I see an elderly person struggling, offer assistance. If I am at a checkout and a mum is struggling to hold her child on her hip and load the shopping on the till. I offer to hold the child or load the shopping. To me it is just normal behaviour.

I cut my immediate neighbour's front grass while I was doing mine last year not long after moving in thinking it would be a decent thing to do. They reported me to the council for noise for having my TV on at a low volume one night around the same time (I don't have a sound bar or surround system etc either) and the weird old twats repeatedly bang on the wall if I'm watching TV after 10pm but scurry into the house if I'm in the garden without saying a word to me, then watch me from behind their curtains. I'm not a bad neighbour, I don't make a lot of noise or have people round for parties etc, not sure what their problem is!

I get on really well with all my neighbours and I help out the ones either side of me. I spent two hours yesterday doing up the girl next door bike because she didn’t have one to play out on. I put their bins out on bin night and I cut her side of the hedge back when I do my side.
