How much do we all miss the simple things of the peck on the cheek or the brush of a hand on your arm or back, the gentle squeeze of a bumcheek ...
Me, I do a lot currently. The hard sex is all well and good but I'm feeling starved of even the most basic of human touch.
Funny how much we need even these little touches to just feel alive and needed.

Funny really as someone held me on the hips the other day, , was nice, just a moment where he kinda held me and moved me, but it felt nice. I’m usually quite dominant in my day life so i was surprised. |

Oh Autumn. When mine and my partner's schedules are out of sync I miss the hand holding. The hair brushing. The light touch of my arse. There's a level of intimacy and almost reassurance in you as a loved and valued human in a simple touch. I hope you get some soon. x |

This made me really sad. I'm married but get none of those things from anymore....its like I'm not even here. Then last week I had a meet and it was like fireworks in my tummy. Little touches, eyes locked, gentle little kisses. I'd love for that every day  |

I agree. I miss these things a lot and even just 'that look'because you know each other so well.
There's also many things I want because I've never actually had them. silly things , things lots of couples probably take for granted .
And my god do I want to be kissed goodnight and wake up to the feeling of being wanted and pulled in close from behind. Strong arms around me and that general feeling you're not facing the world alone.

Totally relate to this.
My other half currently lives quite far away, we only get to see each other 3/4 times a month and fuck me is it hard!
Of course I miss the sex, but it's really the little things I miss most. The snuggles, holding hands, laughing with him, sleeping next to him, all that good stuff!
It's temporary, and we make the best of it but it's tough! |

It is a thing.
Theres a girl, I love her.
Just to share the same space, the peace and gentleness of being doing sharing, from a shared smile to the gentle brush of hair from her face.
From a kiss filled with passion to simply feeling her heartbeat as we hug. From holding her close when shes down, reflective, a bit lost, to simply sitting with her head on my shoulder watching the stars at night.

Nothing more comforting than a hug or a gentle touch. Shouldn't have to be in a relationship for that.
