Yes fingers crossed indeed.
I'm hoping to some new talent and combinations on show, but still expect most of the big names in Japan

Not a NH player but one to watch is Herschel Jantjies (South Africa).
In the Rugby Championship he scored 2 tries on his debut 2 weeks ago against Australia (which South Africa won) and last week scored a late try against New Zealand to earn a draw.

Bring it on!
A certain rugby fan on here would have us believe Ireland will be the only home nation left in the competition after the quarter finals
"
Time will tell.
Let’s get over the warm ups injury free first. |

"Wales England today ...
If it’s anything like the Ireland Italy game yesterday I would expect to see what it says on the tin - a warm up game
"
I don't think we'll see a 100% match necessarily, but these two always go at each other hard. Endland v Wales at HQ is always a special one |

One of the most boring games I’ve ever watched, but a win.
Hopefully Joey Carberys injury isn’t too bad, he looked in fantastic form yesterday up to that point. |

"England B team made Wales A team look pedestrian!
Although it might be different in Cardiff next week. "
I think Wales might have been under prepared or simply expected to win again. They've had a good run of wins and I think teams can sometimes get over confident.

"Scotland’s first warm up against France
Kick off at 8pm
No injuries please ....
Did Scotland know they had a game tonight?
Hmmm
"
Well, you got your no injuries wish.
Scotland looked a better outfit with Vern at the helm going into the last WC. No? |

There is growing concern of GTs tactics. high speed attack, but most definitely at the cost of solid defence. Under Vern they appeared to be on track with both.
I wonder if he is losing the dressing room .. or maybe I’m just reading too much in to the six nations eng v sco half time incident .
Let’s see what they do at home, not that that’s helpful as the rwc they won’t have that luxury.
Interestingly though you look at England v Wales - England dominant, wales nowhere . This week - England lost, wales good again .
Only positive thing as you say - no injury, although I was disappointed to see Barclay knackered after first half .

As I much as I love watching international rugby, I just can't get excited about warm-up games when there's nothing to play for.
Same with football, friendlies just bore me rigid.
Needs to be something on the line to get my competitive juices flowing! |

I wonder if your opinion might be more than a little influenced by the fact it's 30 hunky men running around getting hot and sweaty, regardless of the context |

That right there is one of my biggest pet peeves.
Who do people assume that all ladies watch rugby for perving?!
I actually adore the game and was raised in a family where we ate, breathed and slept rugby. |

Most of the ladies I know that follow rugby regard it as a perk of the sport so to speak, so not so much of an assumption as an opinion based on my real life experience.
But hey, not everyone, no offence meant, hope you enjoy the game |

Rugby is such a strange sport in relation to warm up games....
With such a physical game, the danger of injury through going to hard or not beong pyhisical enough and the lack of other teams to play it adds such an interesting dynamic you dont get in football warm up games |

When they say ‘rugby build’ they mean local club rugby build, not international level build. |

There’s lots of types of “rugby builds”, it all depends on the position they play. |

"I’m a little worried about Toner being left at home , we might regret that "
Really? Have you watching his recent form VS the chosen? I can’t say I’m that surprised tbh. Kleyn has been immense with Munster all season to give him his credit.
I think we’ve a great chance with the 31 named. |
