Generally I agree with you 100% but after chatting with a couple of 20 year old ladies on here, I’ve had to change my opinion as they know exactly what they want. The times they are a changing.... |

Then removed myself when found a relationship off the site.

I think it depends on the individual. The law states that you're an adult at 18, but not all 18 year olds have that level of maturity. Then again, many will. |

And i didn't mean it to sound like a criticism, didn't think you were moaning, was merely giving my opinion.
Sexualisation on tv and the internet i think leads the more youthful of us to push boundaries and try more things than ever before. The biggest risk in all this is not playing safe i reckon. |

At 18 i was in a relationship with a dom and didnt know at the time and had a few 3somes after responding to ads in the papers  |

Lots of 18 year olds won't have the maturity needed, other's will. We don't all mature at the same rate.
I was an extremely mature 18 year old, I needed an outlet sexually and fab was perfect.
Age is, in many cases, just an indicator of how long you been been on the planet, little else. |

Its sex, many 18 to 20 year olds are having plenty of casual sex away from fab and dealing with it. I think they're probably better equipped than a lot not older people with hangups about the morality of having more than one partner. |

I was 21 when I went to my first swinging club. I was also a mother of a 2 year old. If I was mature enough to be a mother I was mature enough to decide what I wanted sexually |

I've been in the lifestyle since I was 18 and I've just turned 33, it all depends on the individual.
When I first started going clubs I used to often get told " I'd love to but your just to young!" Which at first baffled me a little then started to understand it's everyones personal preference, as for some people they had offspring younger than me which gave them a moral issue in there mind, but there are others who I have been playing with for over a decade, some are solely as fab meets or club meets, others are very good friends in vanilla life as well and I have been to there weddings, birthdays ect |

yes they do mature at different rates I'm going of what I know been a parent and there age group that I know from my kids. this life is something that's not real and is all fantasy and mature or not at 18 this day and age they need focus on real life and mature fully but careers and succeeding should always come before anything else and sexually certainly not mature enough to know what's what |

I'd been through more at 18 than most people experience in a lifetime. No one ever told me I was too young to be here. And I don't think I was. Even with hindsight, 12 years later. |

So I started at 21. I was a mother at 18. I have a career. I was mature enough. My son is 16 but a very young 16 year old he wouldn't be mature enough at 18. It's not about age it's about the person. My son has a friend the same age as him who's incredibly mature and people assume he's in his 20s. He would probably be ok at 18 where as my son wouldn't. |

yes that shows you are mature with career and having a baby and know what you want that's how it should be career based got your life right so you can support your kids but there alot that haven't got that drive and realise they need get the important things right in there life's first before any fantasy |

In my opinion  at 18 I had been with D for over a year and we were best friends since I was 14. I knew exactly what I wanted and that was to spend the rest of my life with him experiencing everything together. We knew we were kinky fuckers then too but society held us back. Nowadays at 18 people are more open about sharing partners and exploring sexual desires.
So yes they should be allowed on here, although to be clear we wouldn't get involved in a person of that age purely because we have children close to that age so it doesn't feel right to us.

In fairness it's down to the person themselves, I know people in the 20's, 30's even older than that who are not mature enough for the life style.
At 18 I'd been left home for a few years, was very well established in my chosen career, had my own vehicle and knew what I wanted sexual.
And now days 18 year olds have a bank of knowledge in there pockets so if they know what they want they can click and find it, were as when I was 18 it took me happening to bed a guy in vanilla life to find out about this whole lifestyle that was just what I wanted |

That is the way to do it, simply set your age limits were you want them.
If people don't want to mix with younger people just set your age limits to ages you are happy to interact with, it doesn't matter if it's because you don't think they are likely to be mature enough or if it's personal like they are to close to the age of your own children, the site gives you options on the ages of people who can't contact you so you set them were you are happy |

yes we're same kids around same age think my opion is abit biased has I've got daughters think it's that dad over protective head kicking in eldest is nearly 21 and I struggled letting her bf in my house haha |

Hubby and i have differing opinions on this.
At 18 i was very mature sexually and knew exactly what i wanted.
I think it is great the the younger peeps are open to exploring and not having to stick to 'traditional relationships' provided they are playing safely and not putting themselves at risk then good luck to them!!

My dad found out I was on here and in to the life style when I was 20 , his words were " it saddens me that you will never have a normal relationship but if it makes you happy and as long as you are being safe it's your life to live"
My brother on the other hand who is 18 months older than me found out when I was about 22 so he was about 24 that I was into the lifestyle and he was was trying to use it against me(not wasn't mature enough even though he had a n established career,home and vehicle) and was like well let's see what dad thinks about it, I was like no worries IL even call him for you to tell him, my brother didn't know were to hind himself, ( my brother is bisexual but tells people his family wouldn't understand or agree) I'm one of four siblings boy,girl,boy, girl with ten years between oldest and youngest, we have all been raised to know it doesn't matter who we are as long as we are happy and it doesn't matter who we chose to be with as long as we are safe

There’s plenty of young men and women who are mature. More mature than the ‘older’ lot.
I joined at 20 and when I joined in with the forums I had a lot of messages saying how mature I am and people are shocked by my age. I’m 22 now and still get these messages.
I’m an adult, I can make choices for myself.
I don’t feel that once you get to 50 you’re too old for swinging.
Adults can *usually* make informed decisions, regardless of their age |

I can honestly say a site like this would have helped me enormously at the age of 18. I have learned so many things during the last few years that would have helped enormously during my early adult life and led to a considerably more rewarding sex life and better relationships |
