Yes, they love cats!
When they see one at the window the bark, if they see one in the next garden they bark but when they’re actually with a cat face to face, they love it. They just want cuddles and kisses.
When we go up to my mum’s they love the cats - the cats don’t feel the same way though |

Our dog licks our cat, she likes it mostly. Other times she tells him where to go.
He does chase her, just playing. I'm Sure he would never hurt her.
She was here first, he came in as a tiny pup. Shes a house cat mainly.

Have 2 and neither would welcome a cat at this stage in their life. Both go mental when they see one outside.
One would just bark from a distance and/or chase. The other would try to fight a cat. |

Yes... both would... there were very old cats in my home when they arrived... they'd probably hide in the spare room for about a week just in case... especially the rottie... she learned that a swipe on the nose led to claws eventually |

My sister has both cat and dog, the dog is always trying to play with the cat, don’t think he understands cats don’t play like dogs do, god bless him. She will sit for a while and then get fed up and goes for him! He runs a mile but always back for more |

When I got our youngest cat I already had 2 adult cats and a 2 year old lurcher who had been raised from 7 weeks old with the cats, he was great with them. I brought 9 week old Sassy home and got her out the box. He came to sniff and investigate. She hissed, growled and drew blood on his nose!
After that they became firm friends. He was her shadow, followed her everywhere. In return, she would snuggle him and wash him |

"If you have a dog or dogs would he or she welcome a new arrival..a cat into the house !"
Not in a million years, the only thing my dogs like involving cats is chasing them I'm no fan of cats anyway so I'm not bothered, plus the dogs dislike of felines stops the bastards using my garden as a litter tray |

Our black lab not only welcomed 3 of our own cats, he also babysat over 30 kittens over the years!
We foster kittens for a local cat charity & he used to follow them around & make sure they weren't up to mischief.
He also used to break up fights between our cats & send them into opposite naughty corners We lost him over 3 years ago and still miss him terribly |

"How come you sign a mortgage yet the cat thinks it owns the house !
If cats had opposable thumbs they’d definitely sign for their own mortgages "
If cats had opposable thumbs they'd rule the world! |

"Yes. My dog plays with next doors cat and the cat winds her up "
I went out with a lass back in the 90's, she had a Golden Lab and a cat who were both getting on a bit. The cat took great delight in ambushing the poor old Mutt at every available opportunity, they'd lived together for about 15 years and it was funny to see the cat just clinging round his neck as he plodded off down the garden thinking, Oh Dear, not again |
