Trust them and listen to the voice ?
Or
Not - throw caution and everything else to the wind and say ‘fuck it’
I listen to mine a lot more than I used to ... |

Instincts play a big part for me but I can also be a little impulsive at times too and that's a difficult mix as it can lead to problems when they are at odds with one another - usually though instincts are pretty spot on and I often realise after the event that I should have listened to them. |

Trust your instincts yet impulsively? |

Pretty much always try to listen to my gut, those rare occasions i don't i normally end up regretting it. Think your subconscious has a way of picking up on cues that you otherwise miss/ignore.
That said if the risk reward balance is acceptable then every now and then it doesn't hurt to throw caution to the wind and just go for it. |

"I trust instincts for most things. Sometimes I hear them and feel them but still go into a murky situation, just with my eyes wide open. "
I don’t necessarily mean for meets either ... I mean in general |

Listen to the devil sitting on your shoulder, listen to the angel sitting on the other shoulder, weigh up the alternatives, then procrastinate, then toss a coin and make a rash decision and regret it, then repeat lol |

Yep same here. Gather as much info as possible abiut a situation, get the feels for what is right or not, and still slide in and have a dabble just incase, or not |

When that works it's great - it's when they are at odds with one another the problems come in |

My brain overthinks and I am naturally untrusting which can blur my instincts. When it comes to fab the one time I didnt go with my gut i ended up in an awful situation so now its instinct all the way. |

Surely it's a balance between instinct and assessment? Some considerations are going to lean more in one direction than the other. Some things are easy to confirm without requiring instincts (like a bank balance) and others are going to be more instinct (like relationships). Instincts can be right and wrong.
I think that the best time to use instinct is if a romantic or sexual relationship (or potential) feels wrong. It's possible for it to feel right but for it to be anything but. |

The right place |
Have people seen any of the cats with cucumbers videos on YouTube?
It’s understandable why they have the instinctive response that they do. They are very funny and they do look like dicks! (The cats not the cucumbers). |

I've only ignored that little voice a couple of times.
Both times, I really should have listened.
My gut is never wrong!
Head v Heart though, that's a new one that I'm still trying to figure out.
Might have to resort to the trusty, toss a coin method
