There's nothing wrong with keeping old pictures on your profile but i've noticed quite a few where the newest was posted as much as 5 years ago.
Do you think it's important to keep them up to date? After all a lot can change in that time. |

I'm not sure important is the word, it will bother some but not others so it really depends how bothered you are by that.
I know some people are in denial about how much they've changed in that time, especially their faces. |

"Old photos are fine but if you are wanting to meet people then yes they should be fairly recent
How recent would you say?"
It depends on if you look like your most recent picture, some people update weekly others every month or so.
You are only fooling yourself if you are trying to meet someone with a picture that no longer looks like you |

I find taking photos of myself the most boring dreary thing in the world to do.
Love looking at other peoples pictures and taking pictures though.
I do update my selfie photo faces all the time though, as I take them for other sites anyway. |

As long as I can see some recent pics too I'm not bothered.
Some of my pics were taken a couple of years ago...though to be fair, all that's changed is my hair and I have a few more tattoos. And I also have pics taken in the past week. |

Just upload the same ones again, that's what I do.
I'm not really bothered about photos. I meet the person not some cropped filtered photoshopped rubbish. |

Does that mean you'd meet someone without seeing what they look like first? |

No I only meet after seeing a face pic. I'm just not bothered about profile pics.
Even with face pics, people can look or seem different in person. |

I constantly see some people reposting same old pics every few months over and over again. Can never be certain how old the picture truly is. If the newest is posted 5 years ago at least you can be more certain that it was taken 5 years ago and ask for more up to date one. |
