I subscribe to the online version of my newspaper, and do not buy a hard copy every Saturday anymore.

Haven't bought one for donkeys

I may read one that's lying around very rarely if I'm killing time but only as a last resort as I find them a load of tosh I get my news from the telly box mainly although I will search on line if there is something I hear about and want to know more

The last time I bought a paper was in 1977 when Elvis Presley died.

Well, ok, I have had the very odd one since then, but only if there was something in that I wanted as a keep sake, eg my photo at the Great North Run, otherwise I never ever buy one or even read anyone elses.

Both myself and Mrs Red read the paper's online. Most of the news is media bullshit anyway and cannot be believed so at least reading it online means that I'm not actually lining the pockets of the stinking Fleet Street hacks .
