Has any one come across the sherlock Holmes 50p I have today, and I have read that they started selling on ebay for £5, and could be worth more.

Yes it's a new 50 pence launched in may this year and it's got silhouette of sherlock Holmes with his pipe then most of the cases he solved(Dear Watson I know he not actually real but it's elementary)

We went into a well known fast food chicken eatery last week.

Apparently, bottles of their new sauce, bought for £1:00, were selling on a well known auction site for over £30:00 a bottle!

I havnt seen a Sherlock Homes 50p but I just checked my change and I have a 007 james bond 50p, never noticed them before

You can easily tell the counterfeit ones...they got Moriarty on them.

Yes I got excited when I saw 2000 pound.

But some one sold it for 50p but charged 15 quid pp

I used to think perhaps that some of the beatrix potter 50p,s were more apparently Its the enameled ones deep in collectors collections bought straight from the mint their worth a good price.
