Over the year or so certain numbers kept showing up in my life which led me to discover numerology. I don't know how scientific it is but it's interesting.
My life path number is 9 of anyone's interested and 22 shows up ALOT.
Anyone else here into their numbers and if so what's your life number and does it match you and please you? |

You get your life path number by adding up all the numbers in your date of birth then if you get 27 for example you add the 2 and 7 to get 9. You basically keep adding till you get to a single digit then that's your life number.

No, in theory.
However the number 69 has always been big in my life. Not saying that to be funny or because it's a sex position, it genuinly has. Even things like training course numbers I've been on have been 69. So although it makes no logic sense and in theory I don't believe in such rubbish I have to (annoyingly) confess when I see the number 69 unexpectedly on something I take it as an indication of good luck and/or everything will be ok. I find it comforting to see this number. My lucky number is 3 so I guess 69 is x23 as lucky. |

I researched this after reading this thread earlier today. I did mine, D's, and both our children. Mine is 99% accurate for me (I'm a 3), and I'd say the others are over 90% accurate. Kinda blown away, I don't generally believe in this sort of stuff. |

I've not seen any research evidence on this but am inclined to assume that a man made calendar system potentially wouldn't have too much likelihood of matching personalities and destinies. But, as I said, I've not seen research data in the literature. |

So dob in total is 38 so 3+8 is 11 which is then 1+1=2 so my life number is 2 is that correct?

Google says 11 22 and 33 are classed as master numbers so if you get an 11 like me you don't break that down to 1+1=2. 11 is your life number is that right?

Life Path number is considered to be the most influential number in your numerological chart. It is sometimes referred to as the "Destiny number". Add up the digits and reduce the total to a single-digit number or a Master number (Master numbers are 11 and 22).

Yeah google says you reduce each unit first

Month
Year
If any of them are 11,22 or 33 they get left how they are, if not they are reduced to 1 digit.
so 10/10/1900
would be 1 + 1 + 1
11/11/1900 would be 11 + 11 + 1.
I beleive 29/04/1900 would be
11 + 4 + 1, because 2 + 9 = 11
My number still comes out as 5 using the new calculation though. |

I've noticed the number 22 appears in the news alot in association with terrorist attacks or murders etc. A lot of 22 year old terrorists or things happening on the 22nd of whichever month or at least 22 victims or casualties etc..

Wow I worked out mine to be a 6 and it literally explains myself to a T!
The correct way to add is this..
(D+D) + (M+M) + (Y+Y+Y+Y) add the days until you get a single digit, then the same with months, then years. Then add those until you reach a single digit.

I agree in part with that statement. But for numerology to be true it would make some pretty fundamental claims about the nature of the universe. And there would have to be mechanisms in place to make it true. I just can’t see that fitting with what we do know so far. |

What interests me about it is that a lot of business type people and other serious people seem to use it so I wanted to see what the fuss is about. It goes back to ancient times. So far I've not seen any hard science on it though.. |

The human brain is also fantastic at seeing patterns and even better at seeing patterns that aren't actually there. If you've seen the number 22 in the news recently, then you'll see it even more now that you're looking for it.
