If they know I fancy them, I wouldn’t normally say anything on the thread and wouldn’t expect them to either. I also fully expect that most of the people I really like, like me as a friend rather than fancying my pants off, so I wouldn’t expect them to mention me either. It’s a pleasant surprise if someone does. |

I used to have someone message me asking me to name them. So I’d say ‘sure, you can name me then’ and they’d tell me no, people get too jealous if they name someone 
And I’m not fussed. There’s plenty of men on the forums admit to me that they won’t admit publicly to fancying me because I’m so young
It’s probs cause I’m hated and they don’t wanna be associated with me 
I’m hardly ever named, it’s all good, I’m used to it  |

It matters not , the male species are a fickle old thing and their attention spans only consist of the three previous names mentioned

Fortunately we haven't been in that situation. One lady we have talked about meeting responded to one of these threads in a PM and that's VERY exciting because we both like her.

Doesn’t matter whatsoever. The ones I fancy, I think they know I fancy them. Regardless, whether they are named on a thread or not.
Generally, I don’t like giving out names of people I’ve met/fancy. And I’m not someone to plaster names around on the forums if we’ve met.
Not my character.
...I feel a rant coming on. Going to stop myself there.

We never look at those kinda threads.
The people we fancy are mainly all on our friend list and we’re unfussed about connecting with more as we rarely get chance to hook up with the ones we already have.
We do occasionally get our heads turned at group socials though |

I'm not disputing the reaction and posts of those that have answered. However, there are always an awful lot of butt hurt comments, moaning behind the scenes and various shades of envy knocking around as a result of the naming threads. Far too much for these answers of "not at all" to be the consensus of opinion.

I agree with this fantastic man. I don't have any expectations on here and if those I flirt with through PM don't mention me on those type of threads, it doesn't really bother me. It's just fun at the end of the day and I know I'm not the only one they are sending messages to. |

I make models of them out of old bits of soap and then stick pins in them whilst crying and tearing out my hair. Then I block them and delete all traces of correspondence between us. They become dead to me. DEAD I TELL YA!
