(yes I know what this might attract. Sorry guys, foot fetish isn't my thing. Random self care rather than a sex thing)

The soles of my feet are persistently dry, tight, and itchy. In a dry skin sort of way. I know how to deal with it on any other part of my body, but I'm a bit stumped when it comes to the feet, given the thicker harder skin and the need to walk.

Any suggestions?

Could be athletes foot. In fact I'm 90% certain it is.

I've had athlete's foot before. Tbh this just feels like dry skin/ dermatitis.

Thank you. I've been putting body lotion on them which is helping but not penetrating enough.

Use a pumice or pedegg in the shower before bed then cover your feet in a thick layer of a good footcream and put cotton socks over it. It might take a few days of doing this daily if you have a build up of hard skin.

Just dont piss on your feet, that will toughen them further. Have you been to a chiropodist?

When it's on the sole of the foot it doesn't behave like it would on other parts. It looks and behaves more like dermatitis too.

I would suggest trying out some antifungal creams for a couple of weeks to see if it helps?

.

Slather your feet in something called Working Hands cream, pop some socks on and leave it on overnight. Repeat it for a week or so and you'll see a massive difference. It worked for me after a week on my feet for 14/16 hour days.

Not sure about that, athletes foot normally gives off quite a bad odour. X

Margaret Dabbs foot care from QVC. I could put that woman on a pedestal, her products do what they say

Use a pumice daily and get a cream designed for feet and apply daily, body lotion won't cut it. O'Keefes is a good one. Once a week apply thickly and put a pair of old socks on or wrap your feet in cling film (attractive) and leave for as long as you like.

I'm 99% sure it's not athlete's foot. Just a bit more itchy/dry than normal, to the point of being annoying.

Thanks for the recommendations. I've been avoiding the night foot treatment as it contributes to me overheating in bed, but hopefully that's less of an issue now.

I'm just going off my own experience, I could be wrong. But I could be right x

I'll go down that route if symptoms persist or get worse. I think I just need to take better care of my skin.

I get deep cracks in my heels if I don't keep in top of it, so I regularly sand them down with one of those battery powered heel files and moisturise them daily with O'Keefes Healthy Feet cream, works well for me. You can get the cream in Boots and it's really good stuff
