Inspired by another recent thread;

My experience of modern day society English language is that it lacks beauty and romance, and is too often applied very poorly / used incorrectly altogether.

So, ahead of next taking to the keyboard in an attempt to woo or have yourself publicly heard, allow me to prevent you from committing that embarrassing faux pas - there / their / they're / to / too / whose / who's etc.

Post, or PM me, your sentence and I’ll give you a more suitably constructed / correctly spelt alternative...

Actually that’s a fair use of commas. He used them to denote a parenthetical element, or an aside.

I note that you're sharply dressed and can articulate yourself in a manner most arousing.

This has me wanting to challenge your sexuality.

Tell me about yourself"...

It didn't achieve the desired outcome though, comma or no comma

Somewhere near here

I like to think I’m well spoken and have a good grasp of the English language. I don’t care for text speak, it takes too long to decipher. I understand, having taught adults and teenagers, that for some forming a sentence correctly can be quite difficult, and then to add a range of “beautiful” vocabulary is harder. The English language and the rules behind it can be quite overwhelming if not exposed to it correctly often.

As my year 4 teacher used to say, “English is a funny old language.”
