Ive a friend who has his BBC debut tonight and im soooooo thrilled for him. He's being broadcast across 8 of the BBC Radio stations in the South West (BBC Bristol, BBC Devon, BBC Somerset, BBC Cornwall, BBC Gloucestershire,BBC Wiltshire, BBC Jersey, BBC Guernsey)

My Question is do you still listen to the radio if so are you into local Radio stations or the larger more commercial stations?

I used to listen to Heart FM

When im driving up country i tend to stick on Radio1 as Chris Moyles is brilliant in the morning and i can pick it up pretty much anywhere and dont have to search for nw stations when they go all fuzzy and out of range

Chris Moyles makes my piss boil the way he thinks the music is almost an afterthought that gets in the way of his ego every three minutes.

I like certain shows on Radio 1 like Zane Lowe, Rob Da Bank etc. but otherwise it's 6Music all the way for me.

Oh and incidentally, I once won Pop Master on Ken Bruce (21 points) and got the 3 in 10 with DiamondSmiles' profile name as my 3rd Boomtown Rats hit

I also have a Mark Radcliffe mug which I won for identifying Cream's White Room from the first coupla bars (and I wasn't even born till 1967, which was the year the album Disraili Gears cam out

Local (commercial) radio only. Don't like the national BBC, & local BBC sucks

I know... just not the same, some double acts are just perfect together, and they were.

Bucks

BBC London is on in the car for most of the half hour commute each morning, so to catch the traffic updates, but even then do tart between R1, Absolute and Capital depending on what tunes they're spinning
