Hello Cath-N-Del,
like many tags there is not a definite answer or definition, although I prefer to class myself as a CD as I don't fully dress in feminine clothes, just underwear and T.V.s as those who do fully dress, with a wig etc, i.e try and appear feminine. straight, gay or bi has nothing to do with it, both can be any of those three.

Don't meet them for fun..
Have met a good few very nice ones though at CJ's, some bi some straight, and although I don't see any reason to be calling them anything but their chosen names, just wanted to make sure lol |

Neither label - CD or TV - defines sexuality.
Both indicate a need to dress in clothes of the opposite sex, but short of the need for chemical or surgical interventions.
Instinctively, i associate cross dressing with a sexual fetish and transvestism with lifestyle.

"Just wasn't sure if a straight preferred CD and bi/gay preferred TV..."
Nope. in my opinion CDs are people who cross dress, they do it for fun, or because they like the look. TV's are tranvestites - people whose adoption of the other genders garb is more psychologically rooted. |

Tranvestites or cross dressers don't appeal to me whatsoever sexually, but transexuals do for some reason, especially the ones who really do look like girls but have nice boobs and a nice big cock between their legs. |

This is what i was going to say,Cd is more of a kink,TV a way of being.
Neither is an indication of sexuality. |

"All I know is, a bloke in a frock isn't a woman, the same as a dog in a stable isn't a horse "
Funny you say that, I have a friend (T-girl) Alana, I first met her as Alana, and I always think of her as 'her' it confuses me more when I occassionaly meet her as 'Alan' ... she's just Alana to me |

when is a bloke in a frock not a bloke? when he looks like a woman? does that make he a she?
sex is defined by what is between your legs; gender by what is in your head
understand the difference and you will begin to understand the spectrum of gender dysphoria.
