I hate the smell of their plane.
I really do. Took them too many often and they do have a cheap smell. A smell of cheap AC mixed with plastics ! Hate it hate it hate it ! |

Have to say, never flown with them. An airline becoming very popular now is Jet 2, don't know what their rules and regulations are like |

That's one fox hunting nose you have there...The smell of the AC over those 130+ bodies would be a blessing on any plane. |

While I have sympathy for the lady.
The issue could have been resolved before booking the flight. Reading the booking t's&c's, speak to the airline in person, do some internet research, and she would have known Ryanair are a pain in the arse (no pun intended) to fly with. She could have chosen another carrier instead, or pay the extra couple of quid to chose an appropriate seat.
Treat Ryanair like a bus service and you'll do alright. It's cheap if you do your homework. Travel small and light, no extra charges. If you insist on carrying massive bags, expect to be hit with charges, that's just tough shit. You know the rules. |

Totally agree with you, it's up to us, the passengers to make sure we follow the rules, which makes the experience better for us and our fellow passengers. It's like with anything, you have to read the small print. Booking seats, appropriate for you and making sure luggage is the correct weight/size is our own responsibility |

Knowing how my mum was with her IBS and having to plan trips around accessible toilets, I'm surprised it isn't considered in the same way as Chrones and Colitis."
I believe it is due to the difference in symptoms of IBD and IBS. IBD is an autoimmune disease and whilst it does have some similar symptoms, there are a plethora of others that aren’t the for IBS. Particularly inflammation, fissures and fistula, ulceration, and the potential onset of other autoimmune disease, such as arthritis. There is also a possibility for eye inflammation and skin disorders as an effect of IBD. |

Both flights at the weekend were hassle free, I had chosen seats but was given a window seat each time. Total cost of flying 72 pounds.
I did see a lady in front of me being directed to her seat which someone else had already sat in, but rather that as the person to move she just sat in their seat. I thought fair play for that one mrs  |

I got separated on a maple leaf flight once we were put in two separate seats on a return flight from Canada, two rows of three sits one behind the other we were given the middle seats in each row, I asked all 4 single travelling passengers if just one would move so we could sit together all 4 declined, I asked the flight attendants if they could help and I asked at the check in desk before we boarded, I was not happy and the person sitting in the aisle seat next to me had a very busy 11 hour flight, I have a weak bladder ya know  |

IBS needing to pump or poo suddenly isn't quite the same as bleeding furiously from your arsehole and will never be. Any empathy for her goes out the window when she goes bleating to the press, for what? To highlight airlines charge you to pick a seat, sure we knew this alredy... She's now known as that shitty woman. |

The woman had Colitis I believe. So it is more severe than IBS. However, I’ve not read the article for the reasons she put forward as to needing the seat, so I’m not going to make judgement of her, or her condition. |

It is not pleasant to say the least 
But I’ve been diagnosed for 10 years and know, for the most part how it manifests currently. It can change overtime but hopefully nothing too drastic. |
