I wonder what it would be like if men received the type of messages women get from some men on a daily basis. A Friend of mine showed me her inbox and to he honest it almost put me off sending messages myself... Like EVER...(okay I did say almost...). I wonder how some of these guys would feel with an inbox full of R fantasies about them from other guys. Hahaha. Don't get me wrong. I can understand how the bloodrush that comes with knowing someone's kinks and turn ons as well as being exposed to erotic and sometimes what one may consider to be pornographic (I call it artistic ) pictures of them, can have an intoxicating effect on one's inhibitions in regards to what they would allow themselves to write in a message. For those who find themselves feeling like that often just one piece of advice. Remember you are talking to a human being with a life outside of fab. That's who you are trying to connect to. Not the pics. My problem is the people the go out of their way to write offensive, abusive, unwarranted graphic, and just plain fucked up messages or statuses to or about people. Or the nonstop repeat messages (does that actually ever work?).

Respect matters.

The problem is, the men who read this probably already know this. And the men who need to know this probably won't read it

....men will be men women will be women. Seem to me society is hell bent on changing men.

In the past was Van Gogh chopping his ear off, cat calling, now is tonnes of email

A lot of them just do not think. I have asked many of them: what in a woman's profile has prompted them to show her such disrespect? Still got no answer.

If the messages being discussed are an accurate representation of what men are*... Men need to be changed.

* I'm not sure that's true myself

I might be missing your point, but by complaining that society wants to change me, and on the context of this tbread, are you saying that behaviour doesn't need changing?

I was not talking about the abusive message did not read further down the Op message however just like clubbing or any environment where they are pretty women guys will always try their luck. So expect a lot of messages from chancers.

What I wonder about is if I'm a guy and I sent a specific type of abusive or offensive message to girls every single day... Am I doing it because sometimes it works??

I'd say guys that send unwarranted graphic and abusive messages are doing it out of frustration and anger.

I'd expect it shouldn't work for the majority of the women but I know a lady with a fab partner that email like that might just do it for her, that is what she likes and enjoy, whatever you can think of very likely she'll be up for it your imagination is the limit. There was another lady that use to pop up on my fab local update where the partner I suspect fab partner again encourages what will be perceived as an offensive message, of course, those are the tiny majority. Helps if you know your target.

As you said respect matters and that should be the common goal.
