On the back of benandjennys post about his recent surgery and concerns about the resulting scar, who is up for posting their scars/broken veins/weird bits or anything else that common press seem to think are negative?

We all have stuff. I’m off to do mine...

My inbox is flooded with men showing off some amazing scars, some very new others well healed.

Manchester (she/her)

I'm not prepared to put mine on public display. But I've had three surgeries. Two saved my life. One was, in some ways, life altering, and I view the scar as a symbol of how hard I've fought since then, and how much I've overcome.

A lot of my scars are visable in my pics, I have a few from self harming when I was younger, some around my boobs and armpits from cancer treatments/surgeries and some around my groin and bottom due to domestic abuse and hidradenitis suppurativa (a skin condition linked to pcos).

And a few miscellaneous

My skin is the one thing that really plagues my confidence above anything else.

I'm trying to care less.

Cardiff

Several knee scars, both knees and a scar from c section.

Don't bother me, actually noticed on in the pic I recently uploaded as it never takes tan so sticks out a little.

Have one right in the corner of my eye where a friend hit me with a golf club (accident). But it looks more like a wrinkle now.

Hartlepool

I have little scars all over my body but they don't bother me.

I have a csection scar that's longer and less neat than other womens but that's because it was a full on emergency. Came close to both of us dying (my daughter was still born but they revived her). The surgeon apologised later for it being messy but I don't care,he saved us.

The only one that really bothered me was when I recently had my appendix removed. 3 small cuts but one was just below my bellybutton and the swelling popped my bellybutton out. That made me insecure in clubs for a while and it's taken around 2 months to settle.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

My appendix burst when I was about three and a half. The scar has grown with me and means my belly fat hangs in an odd way on that side.

It's one of my earliest memories, followed by lifting my dress, when I'd left hospital, to show anyone and everyone my new scar.

I've never noticed your scar! Must have been distracted

It's hidden by the fold of flab.
