How far would you go?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Interested to know, from a chap who lives somewhere relatively quiet (not a city), how far would you travel, or accept a man travelling, for a meet?
The town I’m in isn’t dead at all but it’s also about 25-45 min drive to the larger urban area depending on which side one needs to get to. |

We've travelled 3hrs for some fun. Stayed in a nice hotel and made a weekend of it.
If someone isn't willing to travel 45mins for a night of fun with us we wouldn't want to meet them anyway but then we're not into the fuck and go kind of meets.
Xx |

I agree about not being willing!
It’s slightly different as a couple perhaps? Rather than a single bloke meeting up with a single woman? Or maybe not? |

How far I'd travel? I quite like to make weekends of it so there's not a particular set distance. It depends on how much I like the person I guess.
How far I'd be happy for the other to travel on a first meet? It depends again. What they would feel comfortable with, if I have worries about pressure perceived or given. |

I tend to only meet at clubs these days, and my partner and I travel pretty far for some, we make a weekend of it and thoroughly enjoy ourselves!
On the rare occasions we meet elsewhere, we're happy to travel, and I only meet locally for socials as I don't drive. |

Seems like there are some people with common sense in the forums! Makes perfect sense. |

I won't meet people who won't travel anymore! For similar reasons ... |

No more than about one hour, so around 30 - 35 miles distance or our home own to say Leeds or Nottingham. We've had too many no shows in the past to be burned again.

Me too. Prefer to travel a bit, enjoy a nice hotel and see somewhere new. No expectations but fond memories if fun had |

"For 10 or 12 mins of fun??..being realistic! About 20 mins away probably "
really logical, unless night halt no point of travelling more then 50 miles and travel back after 1 hour |

I would travel anywhere in UK as there is always an airport close by but I would really need to trust the person or people I was meeting and know that they are going to be there when I travel,I've had females say oh no you cant travel here that's more than an hour away, dont understand the issue if the person I'd happy to travel? |

We always find a halfway meeting point and book an air bnb..that way it's fair to everyone. We have stayed in some great properties and had lots of extended fun.Nothng is rushed and its very relaxed. |

"Hours typically 3 is my max however have went further. 600 miles actually. Contemplating 6000 miles for a repeat
6000 or 600 "
Think Darlo was saying she’s already done 600 before but since then the person she’s visited has moved so is thinking of travelling 6000 for another meet.
Fair play..! x |

About 250 miles or four hours. Did once fly to LA for week long meet...after months of chat many years ago. Started well, then bit awkward, then all good at end. |

I don't like anyone travelling miles to see me for a social as that implies other things and even when arranging a social only, the majority of guys seem to still hope it's going to turn steamy! Either I make a day of it or meet halfway for a social.
After that, as said before, travel is all part of the adventure! |
