Go the other way, visit Scarborough via Ripon, Thirsk, Chop Gate and Helmsley. Stop at Helmsley for a brew and some chips. Great ride out I do it regularly. |

Young man. Take the A41 to the A550 then the A494 stay on it until you reach Loggerheads Country Park. Stop for a wazz and a cuppa( or even go for a walk along the Leete ) then carry on down the 494. The views are stunning. When you reach Bala , park up and enjoy the lake views and the leg stretching. Back on the A494 until you reach Dolgellau another mini stop cos it's beautiful. Then come back up the A470 through Snowdonia and Blaenau and Beyws y Coed. Stay on that Road until you reach Conwy and then make your way home along the A55 via Abergele and Deeside then shoot off up the M53 cos you'll be countrysided out by then. Enjoy.
