"Gin. Love it, drinking it although I already know it’s going to betray me and slay me."
Not long discovered the marvels of gin ..still a novice so any mixer advice for different gins would be appreciated |

"You're a brave woman revisiting that often treacherous love. I am going to have a glass of wine at ten. Note the singular."
It always starts with just the one... you know it doesn’t end like that. |

For all of you who are imbibing excess quantities of gin, and are concerned that you might inadvertently start sending people unsolicited pictures of your lady-gardens, might I offer our inbox?
Obviously you'll make be blush furiously, but I will gladly take one for the team if it means you won't wake up tomorrow morning filled with embarrassment and regret...

Hendricks, fevertree aromatic, cucumber not lemon and black pepper - glass full of ice
It’s how you drink it and what you mix with it. If you drink it like it’s a pint it will have its wicked way with both your head and stomach |

Can we propose a Negroni? Dark, strong and sophisticated! Packs a punch! Mix 30 mls of Gin, Campari, and red Vermouth in a tall class with lots of ice.. stir well, and add a slice of orange! Enjoy slowly with some Pistachios and some Prosciutto... Molto elagantti... A great way to start an evening... |
