Been invited to a house meet with another couple on the basis that we understand its a social only.
Except it's nude??
Clothes off at the door, get comfortable and chat and social drinks
3 couples all naked and just social??
Is this a real thing??
Do people actually get together for nude socials??? |

yes had one.
its a great way to get to know each other there was nothing to hide.
it was a bi couple and 3 bi guys.
we sat around naked chatted and had a drink.
after a few hours we left no sex.
but got a call back on the sunday morning for a great sunday session. |

Never even heard of this.
Honestly thought it was a wind up but the couple in question insist it's all above board.
No play, just social fun....but completely naked.
Apparently it's a much more relaxed environment when everyone is fully nude????? |

Definitely not something that i would enjoy! Haha. But i suppose in naturist circles, this would feel realxing. I think LJ would be comfortable with that, but i would be far too self conscious haha.

I don't see anything too wrong with it. I'm quite happy getting my kit off and having a cuppa and chilling with another nude person or group. It may easily lead on to other fun later down the line  |

It's a good idea in some situations but I can also see the merits of a few minutes before you decide whether to go nude.
You could have an ante-room, which is clothed, where security and possible attraction is evaluated. If people are really not appropriate, it's wasted time to do much more than give apologies. It's also fine to meet at some clubs like this for a social, without feeling concerned about a strangers house etc |

I'd happily strip off on a nudist beach, and have no issue doing so in clubs to use the hot tub. But, if you're talking about a small scale *Fab* social where the objective is usually to see if there's an attraction in the flesh, then errrrr .... no. That's entirely different to naturists simply chatting without there being any potential sexual intent - even if at a later date.
Bottom line (pun intended) is that I wouldn't feel comfortable giving someone I wasn't attracted to a close up viewing! It would feel really creepy for me. |

That's a good point. Ordinarily, I love being naked and love a good conversation (best of both) - but the OP scenario does sound like a creepy flesh market or buffet, where the hosts pick & choose. Bit of a cheeky way to get what they want. |

Oh god this would not be for me, way too close for comfort. I mean I'm all for seeing the goods beforehand but in a living room for me, would just feel wrong. |

Unless you are a seasoned naturist, you would be so uncomfortable that your real personality would not come out.
I couldn't do this - happily dress down in a club after a while, but no, not this.

Didn't go though with it, after careful consideration we politely declined, made out excuses in a reasonable amount of time and wished our hosts well.
We've since been blocked by them and now consider ourselves rather fortunate that we didn't take up the offer.
For all the open mindedness we have the concept of a nude social didn't really ring right
Still.....you live and learn I guess. x |

When we go to Eurekas everyone's naked, we chat and socialise. It depends if you enjoy naturism or not really. A lot of people find being naked with other people without having sex with them weird though so if it isn't something you're comfortable with its best to stay away from situations where its likely to occur |

I wouldn't want to do a nude social in someone's house to be fair although I'm quite happy on a naturist beach or somewhere like Eureka |
