What GOOD piece of advice can you give to fellow fabbers to stay alive in a heatwave ??

"Saw some crap on BBC news last nights heatwave sleeping advice.... "put your socks in the" fridge".... How's that going to work??
Maybe you leave your feet in them " . Someone give it a try please, I'm at work, so no fridge, I can't... I want to know if it works |

Apparently we’ve been advised to refrain from sticking ice lollies up our foofs so instead, fill a condom with water, tie the end off, pop it in the freezer for an hour and use that instead. Or stick it up your bum if you prefer or even both if you make two. The bum thing works for chaps too |

Shit, I'm all out of white fleece..." any other cloth will do, bed sheets etc..the factor is a draught blowing through the colder surface will cool the air. |

Same principle of filling a bowl of cold water almost to the brim, and placing it in front of a fan.
Airflow across the surface of the water cools down the room faster. |
