I've never been a fan and have, thus, never succumbed for fear of being labelled ostentatious
That's really not me
Albeit, today I've had a rethink, and - against my better judgement - I'm whacking a "GMF1" personalised number plate on the Porsche
Thoughts?

Go for it my friend. As long as you don't decide to change your name 
I don't see a problem with private plates that actually say what you want them to say, rather than those that rely on wierd script lettering and oddly placed screws to manufacture words - that's just naff. The one I want is £15k so mine will be a while coming  |

I have a dateless plate from the year 1928. Im not sure what I'd have if I had the choice though. I only bought mine because I once had a 13 reg car and I felt abit superstitious about the number. |

I've got a private plate.
Just to introduce myself, I'm TG33 DGO, when I bought this car I just changed my name by deed poll. Simples...

I`ve got private plates on some of my cars, but related to the cars, not me, because I don't wanna be too ostentatious...
I'd quite like a 69 plate, but they're hard to find at a decne price.. There's 2 cars with "CUK*" plates near me, which always make me wonder what their personal lives are like...  |
