There's no denying it. All of us guys have felt the pressure when sending that 1st message. What do you say? How can you stand out from the masses? How do you not come across like a horny wanker?
Ladies, what has been the worst opening message you had? Equally, which has been the best? |

I send the first message. Quite often actually. And normally it'll be some quip about their forum post or a slightly sarcastic remark about it. And then I worry that they won't get it. 
The worst one would be the ? in the subject header followed by "meat now?". Succinct I'll give him that. |

The worst messages would get me banned from the forum, they're that bad.
The best have all been unique. Personal, using my profile text, and giving me just a hint (nothing graphic) of what we might have in common or what I might get out of this. Nice but not deferential. |

I wouldn't call it pressure as such, just find it cold and clinical and a little awkward sending unsolicited messages to random people whose profile I've liked - which is why I haven't sent that kind of message in probably two and a half years. |

I always wonder how often those sort of messages have the desired outcome 
Our worst is a guy that makes a new account every month or so & sends "she like big thick young cock", same message, no punctuation, no capitals, every time.
A good message for us addresses both of us, has some evidence of having read our profile, and a bit of humour will always go down very well. It's not rocket science  |

I tend to actually take the time to read the whole profile and not look at any photos before I message and try my best to make it noticeable that I have done so. Best opener was sent to me asking if I was related to them |
