Who was your first true love

As we are all growing older and looking for some excitement in our lives I just thought I would ask who your first love was?
Mine was an American girl visiting a local family in the summer of ‘87 and it was incredible. We were young but had an amazing summer.

A guy i met at 18. He was everything to me and i was everything to him till it got complicated and life moved us in entirely different directions.
28 years on we are still incredibly close see each other a few times a year (as friends) i see his wife and kids too

We met at 7 drifted apart at 16 came back together in our early twenties drifted reunited drifted both in our 50s now and not seen her for 6 years now
Very complicated very real very damaging
But I still think of her every day |

His name is Steve. We met online when I was 19 and married to someone else . We fell in love at a distance. We eventually met and over the years it grew stronger. He married someone else. Twice. It broke my heart. Twice.
We remain friends and speak often. |

My first love was a boy I met at a church youth group. Lost my virginity to him in an activity room in that church basement. He passed while we were still very young, and later I met Mr Cagey and we got married in that church.
Weird story, especially for an atheist. Haha
But Mr Cagey is totally my soulmate. I was in the Us, him here and we met in a chat room back in the days when you don’t meet creepy online people hahahaha |

My 1st was a Dutch girl, I was serving in Germany. She was very sexually liberated and opened my eyes to the less vanilla side of life. But she was not willing to travel as I moved around with the RAF so it wasn't meant to be. Still think of her often 25 years on. |

Somewhere in the plurality of universes that we all exist in is the timeline where Ms Icebreaker is my first love; all the rest seem rather ordinary by comparison.
In reality? I feel guilty about the poor peole I inflicted my first love on; it must have been like being followed home by a one eyed puppy with a faint whiff of drains about it. |

There’s been 2, although the first was my Ex, my Kids Mum.
Just recently my GF finished our relationship 2 weeks ago after 3 years. Devastated, which I’m awake at 4:30 with to much on my mind   |

Sarah green, the kids tv presenter. Then she went and ruined it all by marrying some idiot racing driver I think. I may have been 8 years old but I think I had better game than he did! |

She married Mike Smith the Radio Presenter. He did do a bit of racing. They had a helicopter crash and both were injured so they sort of disappeared from public life for a bit. He died in 2014.
Hopefully we’re thinking of the same Sarah Green or this could be awkward.

I was 19, he was 28. He was in a band and I was besotted with him. We were together for 3 years, until I dumped him because he was happy just dossing around with the band never having a proper job, and I wanted to buy a house and move in together.
Being dumped gave him a kick up the arse and he went back to college and became a tutor. I'd moved on by then, but we still message each other occasionally. |
