So on here and various social media platforms (facebook) you have the option of "Friends"
Do you just add people (on both) to increase your "friends" list or do you keep it as only those you actually talk to (in real life) and/or want to get to know?

Friends invites are only accepted if there is a possibility I may meet them, or someone I have got to know through the forums. Occasionally I accept those weird people with shadow avatars |

Don't do any social media absolutely nothing, except this site, if you can call it that.
Only have 3 friends on this site, and that friendship goes back years. |

I'm extremely closed when it comes to people I add as friends. I generally only add those I've met in real life or feel like I know really well and trust.
I often log in to find people on our friends list and I think "who the fuck are they and why are they there?" Insert jaw drop moment of horror and panic, praying it isn't someone I may know from outside fab.

I'm attempting a record of no friends for like 5 years or more.
If people are showing dozens of friends I tend to think they're showing off trophies.
I do have real friends in the actual world though |

I don't have many, the ones I have I feel are lovely people and I've had some great chats with them.I'm still guilty of getting lost on the threads and not checking in with them more often. I'm a pain in the dick though so maybe not checking in so often is why we're still friends lol |

I only really use Instagram and I only follow accounts with people I know or accounts that genuinely interest me. I hate the idea of adding people just for the sake of it.
On here, my friends list is small, I accept people I don't mind having a chat with and people I see around the forums. |

I have quite a few friends on here. People I have met in person, usually at a club or been having a good chat with.
On Facebook over a 100, but that is because of hobbies, and common interests. |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I don't accept friend requests on here unless I have met the person or the PMs have been so confessional and significantly long term that I feel I know them better than some I have met.
My only other social media is TwitTwat and I have more 'followers' than I 'follow'. I don't consider those friends.
