Has anyone had any experience with low testosterone levels?
Got the doc to do test mine last week which she agreed to but wasnt expecting to find anything and i came back under the normal range.
Do they give hrt/trt for this on the nhs? I dont have my appointment with the doc till next friday.

"If you came back in the normal range why do you think you need any treatment and why did you ask for it to be tested in the first place?"
Asked to be tested as i was showing the signs of it, which are similar to the menopause...
Depression/low mood
Lack of motivation
Lack of concentration
Loss of sex drive
Doc was inclined to think it was psychological and i wouldnt have been tested had i not asked |

TRT can be prescribed by your doc, however, being under the normal range doesnt guarantee it.
They might want more tests over the year and take an average and ask you to make lifestyle changes which can increase levels.
If your average comes back above then no TRT in most cases.
All depends on your doc, some just won't give it others are happy to based on my experience and others I know who have received it.
Good luck anyway, it makes a huge difference if you can get it because you have low levels.

12 yrs ago mine dropped to very low levels but still within the specs so to speak. But now on 100mg/10ml gel daily to help. Still not great erections but no depression at all, so that's a win. Only problem is it's like beeing a teen again as get boils from them. So have to be extra on cleaning myself. |

Blimey, stop smoking no drinking alcohol, tea or caffeine drinks. Drink four pints of plain tap water. No red meat after 5, go to bed earlier. Exercise your pecker everyday, whether your having sex or not.
Start taking zinc/magnesium supplements, at night. Tribulus Terestus capsules and Horny Goat Weed capsules.
Just do it and stop snivelling, there's no magic pill except more rest.
Remember after a good night's sleep, you used to wake up hard. Sleep more, wank every morning and stress less. |

Harsh
The advice is good but no need for the rest! |

I went private. Daily testorone injections. Its made a big difference.
I dont get anywhere near as axious or depressed and better confidence resulting in 2 promotions.
The nhs normal range isnt age specific and their accepable normal range falls way below what the bssm guidlines would specify.
Its basically hrt although its mostly viewed with distain by the nhs due to it being steroids and an assumed link to steroid abuse.
