A lot of people are banging on about paper straws that were prevalent in the good old days. Weren't we bullied into believing we were destroying the rain forests and that plastic was the way to go? Now we're being told that we're ruining the planet by using plastic and to go back to destroying the rain forests. I think a far worse problem is plastic water bottles. When did we start feeling the need to carry water with us everywhere we go, 24/7? Bring back, and increase the amount of public water fountains I say! |

The problem is people moan about anything. I have no problem with paper straws they last over a hour.
If I'm honest I think they should tax all plastic bottles, and coffee cups. Bring your own they will fill at any shop or you have to pay a £1 tax for a cup.
But it takes the world not just the UK. All countries have follow mainly China and India who don't recycle anything.
Water fountains don't work as people think it's better to buy a bottle with pictures of mountains. |
