"Alfa Sud 1.5ti. Great little car but was always fighting the rust."
I had a green cloverleaf, beautiful car, great handling, sounded great, slowly turned into a flintstone car with the road visible through the floor |

1983 Ford Sierra - that was gifted to me though
First car I actually bought was a 1987 Vauxhall Cavalier
I paid £2,000 for it and within 2 months it had been nicked & burnt out |

02 plate mk 2.5 mx5 in black with red mohair hood. I loved her! Sold her for spares/repairs a couple of months ago because the rust underneath was not economically viable to fix.
Moved onto a newer mk3 mx5 in silver with chrome detailing and boot rack |

It was only 2 years ago but a 1 litre 2014 peugeot 107. Even at 25 it was cheaper for me to get a newer car on finance and insure it than it was just to pay for insurance on a older car. I was looking at over £250 a month insurance on any car I looked at that was under a grand but if I got a 3 year old car on finance with a £400 deposit, the finance and insurance payments were under £200 a month combined. I also got 2 years warranty so it was a no brainer really. |

A black fiat 127 sport, lived in Germany at the time, past my test here at 17 but I couldnt drive the little rocket over until I was 18, the insurance was £850 a year way back in the early 80s, on the day of my 18th I was the most smiley young lad in BAOR, god knows how I didn’t kill my self, |

Mk 2 Ford fiesta in terracotta orange.
Was called Terry and he'd had an interesting life. Before I bought him he had been a chicken coup. I scrubbed him out and vaxed several times, but he still smelt odd at times.
He got stolen a couple of times, but I got him back. I loved him to bits and sold him for more than I bought him for.

1966 Hilman Imp in white & Rust. Useless in the winter as the heater was scaled up & didn't produce any heat & useless in the summer because if you stopped the engine when hot it wouldn't start again unless you push started it. Went like a rocket though, bit dangerous as it had drum brakes & no servo ! |
