I was just finished updating my profile after 2 years, making it shorter and thought how often do you update/ change your profile? And do you really have to put the Sidney thing after all this time?

I haven't updated mine since I rejoined.
I only updated it last time I was on because someone rewrote it for me.
I just keep it short and sweet, most people just skim read anyway.
And no, the Sydney thing means nothing and makes you look like a bit of a sheep if you do copy it to yours. |

I just had to look at mine to see what it actually said. I haven’t updated it since I joined and wasn’t sure what to write. Now I’ve been here a while I have more of an idea of what I’d like to say so I should probably give it a rewrite this weekend  |

Have you ever tried recording yourself talking? Imagine you're telling someone about you, as you would for a profile but out loud.
Then just type that up as profile text. I think it would flow like a friendly chat.  |
