If only I knew how many people got wound up by this. I'm deliberately leaving the stickers on the next pair of shoes I buy. I might even add my own "find something else to get annoyed about" sticker  |

The problem is the stickers are put on with the stickiest glue known to man!"
i feel your pain, but it can still be taken off - use a bit of hot soapy water and a sponge...
