We can't have nice threads because people get accused of being up each others arses. We can't have discussions because people argue. We can't have mundane threads because folks complain that they're dull. We can't have joke threads because folks complain that they're immature. We can't have complaint threads because they're negative. Flirting threads miss people out and people get butt hurt, so they're out. Sex threads get judgemental. Judgemental threads are just plain nasty. Game threads are moronic (so they say)...
It seems like no one is pleased with any of the content on the forums. Fun here innit!

That’s why I stick to my mundane ‘wipe ya bum’ threads. My supermarket one did get me some abuse though. I’m a cheap skank for shopping in Lidl. But that’s okay.  |

This  a thread is a thread. It's like watching TV, if there's nothing on that you want to watch turn it off. Others will still watch. |

Here’s an idea, Ignore the posters that spout shite, ignore the threads you find pointless or circle jerking and just join in with stuff that interests you all.
It’s really simple.
It amuses me that all the clique moaners, accusers and deniers can never resist posting on the subject when somebody brings it up again.
It’s almost like many of you have auto reply brains.

I do agree with you about that.
Whilst I'm aware that my OP is a moan, it's a moan with intent.
As others have said; you can't please everyone, so why try? If folks are unhappy with the forum content then change it, if people dislike the tone of a thread, then don't post on it.
Being negative and derisory because others aren't playing 'your game' or things don't fit exactly how you want them is ludicrous!

That's my take, hence the attempt at variations of old and basic "get to know others" threads. They are good fun but its nice to change them up too.
I don't care if they get ignored or hit the post cap. I'll keep doing what I enjoy. |
