I'll believe it when I see the movie released. This has been mooted about since the original. The death of Tony Scott would have only made it less likely. |

Better puppets hopefully.... "

It’s about a pretty good jet pilot man, who has a crisis of confidence, he meets a pretty good looking woman who teaches him to be a better jet pilot man, the end. |

He's very good in a particular area of expertise.
Then the meets a beautiful woman.
And becomes a better person in that area of expertise at the end of the film? |

Let’s hope they don’t cock it up. I remember, with regret, the abomination that was Indiana Jones and the crystal skull. Having watched the trailer. There’s a volleyball scene, a singing in the pub scene. I just hope it’s not done too much tonguenin cheek and there’s a decent script |

The trailer doesn't hint on a storyline, apart from Maverick is still a .... maverick. It's pushing the point that the aerial shots will be spectacular, fans of motorcycles (me ) will be pleased and there is a new Female love interest 
I have no doubt a second trailer will give us an idea of the storyline, so hopefully this will be a great film
