There's still a couple in our house. My in-laws seem to think we have 72 kids living at home.

Hotel Chocolat, one of the ones in the nicely beribboned box.

I was saving it for a special occasion/an unexpected need to celebrate. As one hasn't arrived I decided to eat finally open it.

That's the second mention of the C word I've seen on here this evening. They're not supposed to start that malarky until August.

I had two eggs given to me. That one and the Waitrose avocado one. I bought some Lindt bunnies in the sales, saving one for a friend. My gratification has been properly deferred.

p.s. Imagine it going over a speed bump.

I don't actually defer any others really. I'm far too impatient. I am very impressed with your dedication. You didn't forget about it and discover it in a pantry rummage?

No, it's next to whisky and the wine and I see it every time I go to the fridge (not kept in the fridge, of course).

Why didn't you open it to celebrate his 18th? If it's kept properly it will be fine.

Finally, someone gets it.

I thought the thread might lead people to talk about their deferments but instead everyone saw chocolate.
