Films that are perhaps forgotten. Just underrated or got very poor reviews but you think they're brilliant.

I've just watched face off again and this tonight is my pick.

The punisher is another of Travoltas films I think makes this list too.

Urgh God no, it's probably the worst representation of the punisher to be filmed, including all the fan fiction stuff. Watch punisher; dirty laundry on YouTube. The short wipes the floor with the 2000s punisher. Punisher; warzone is way better too.

Underrated films are;

Lars and the real girl

Once we're warriors

The immaculate conception of little dizzle

Dredd - Karl Urban in a criminally under performed at box office (probably because of the Stalone crap years ago) but is a beauty.

The Dish - No one I know has seen this and its so ridiculously funny. About the radar dish in Australia that has to pick up the moon landings signals.

Cemetery Junction - A brilliant coming of age film set in the late 70's about not settling for what your lot on life has given to you. Great score too with a wonderful way to use Led Zeppelin in the last scene.

No. The only good remake of The Italian Job is Kelly's Heroes. The Americans wanted it with tanks and a happy ending; Troy Kennedy Martin rewrote it for them.

Disney's "The Black Hole". It's a great sci-fi film and a bizzare choice for Disney considering how dark it is. A lot of the subject matter they wouldn't touch with a dildo on a stick these days.

Radley

Not seen it for a long time but I did like Dry White Season - possibly more powerful film than Mandela

Aside from that, so many films I have enjoyed that got so-so ratings. But then I guess I'm easily pleased / have a low entertainment threshold. Means I feel I get value from most films I see though, so it has its upsides.

Having said all that, was not overly impressed with Spiderman FFH though.

If anything, Karl urbans dread was closer to the comic series than stalone, He actually never took off his helmet, Whereas stalone would not hide his face....
